Directions
Bus: 325 stop outside ground.
Train:Forest Gate ground signposted from station station is only a 8-10 min walk away along Grange Road then into Upton Lane.
Tube: District line Plaistow station 5-7 min walk.
Car: A13 to Plaistow junction (A112) follow A112 along Prince Regents Lane straight across two sets of lights. At 3rd set turn right onto Clegg St. Straight across next set of lights onto Upton Lane (A114) ground is approx half mile down on left hand side.
Plane: London City airport is only a 15 minuite drive from the ground
Brief History....
Clapton are one of the oldest clubs in the country, at one stage being one of the most successful amateur sides in the country in the early 1900's attracting crowds in the 1000's as many locals would see Clapton as the alternative to watching close neighbours West Ham.
Clapton have won many major honours Ishmian league champions on two occasions and runners up three times.
Clapton were the 1st club to play on the continent in 1890.
Recent times have seen Clapton fall down the leagues but are now on a safe footing and improvements are being made on and off the field to return to the Ishmian league.
