Tons travelled to Barking looking to build on last weeks impressive win but came away empty handed going down 3-0 to the blues.
Sat 24th Jan:
Clapton recorded their 1st win of 2009 with the 2-1 win over Barkingside both goals coming from forward Troy Hewitt.
Sat 17th Jan:
The long trip to Burnham Ramblers was all in vein as Tons came away losing 5-1 against a strong Ramblers side tons goal coming from Hewitt.
Sat 3rd Jan:
Clapton 0 Basildon United 3 Tons went down at home against the Bees this afternoon at the dog.

Sat 6th December:
A thriller at the Dog saw Clapton lose out narrowly by a 5-4 reverse to Barking.
Sat 18th Oct:
Clapton went down at home in the league losing 5-1 to Eton Manor. Tons were only trailing 1-0 at the break but the floodgates opened once again in the second half to leave Tons Bottom of the league.
Weds 15th Oct:
An early exit from the London Senior cup Tons losing 4-2 away to Colliers Wood United.
Sat 11th Oct:
Tons travelled to Southend Manor for the Gordon Brasted trophy 1st Round game and made an early exit losing 4-2 beside the seaside.
Sat 4th Oct:
Clapton earnt a valuable point in a hard fought 4-4 draw away to Mauritus Sports.
Sat 20th Sept:
Weekly update The 1st team travelled to Clacton for the Essex senior cup rearranged game on Tuesday night only to come away with a heavy 8-1 defeat.
Also on Tuesday the Reserves were in action losing this time away to Barking 5-2.
Sat 13th Sept:
The Website is now up and running again but in a smaller compact bitesize site which gives basic news on the fortunes of Clapton Football Club.
Claptons rearranged game away to CLacton has been set for this Tuesday 16th a 7.45 ko.
Tons go down again and are holding up the rest of the Essex Senior league table after a 3-0 defeat at Barkingside.
Reserves bad form continues as Ben Roys side lose again this time at home to Canvey Island going down 2-0 thats 7 defeats in a row for the young ressie side.
